## Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provide leadership and direction to facility maintenance personnel and production pm team with responsibility for providing maintenance services to plant customers. Responsible for engaging subordinates in safety programs. Maintain plant building, utilities systems, and equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance methods. Serve as the Energy Coordinator for the site. Supervise outside service contractors including: security, grounds maintenance, pest control, electrical, HVAC, boiler, air compressor, facility calibrations, and locksmith. Maintain boiler, fuel oil tank, and pressure vessel inspections and fire loss prevention inspections. Comply with FM Global recommendations and environmental permits and regulations. Propose, develop, and deliver capital, major maintenance, and plant alteration projects. Maintain facility maintenance documentation requirements to meet E.H.S. and ISO guidelines.
## Qualifications
Essential Functions:
Provide leadership and direction to facility maintenance personnel with responsibility for providing maintenance services to plant customers.
Support production by providing uninterrupted utility service.
Responsible for operating within budgets established for General Building and Facilities Maintenance accounts.
Propose, develop, and deliver capital, major maintenance, and plant alteration projects.
Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules and prepare CER documentation. Manage departmental resources to support achievement of plant objectives.
Administer contractor entry training & documentation
Supervise outside service contractors
Maintain plant environment within GMP requirements.
Comply with plant operational permit requirements.
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for facilities and production equipment utilizing CMMS.
Administer predictive maintenance programs to include vibration and oil analysis programs.
Coordinate plant shutdown maintenance activities.
Maintains facility vehicle program
Maintains direct reports time/attendance records.
Schedules maintenance work orders and safety action request system
Implements energy conservation strategies including implementation of energy reduction projects & energy management practices
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education required/ preferred: Two year technical degree required. Four year engineering degree preferred.
Experience: Four to ten years of related maintenance experience.
Preferred Skills/
Qualifications: Knowledge of plant utilities and systems.
Working knowledge of MS Office inclusive of Excel, Word, and Access preferred.
Skills/Competencies: Able to interpret common scientific and technical information.
Good written and oral communication skills. Project management and follow up. Other Skills: Leadership skills, team concept skills, presentation skills
