Position Description:
Responsible for transporting sliver from 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th spinning frames to designated locations at yarn plant.
Must be able to recognize and distinguish colors-cans are color coded to the machines and flags.
Must wear steel toe shoes and safety goggles and a dust mask if within 50 ft of blow down operation.
Will sweep floor in assigned OES area.
Will load sliver onto can truck for transport.
Will brush walls and posts.
Will walk in and outside or plant with exposure to weather.
Must observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed.
Will be responsible for reporting all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions.
Must understand and comply with all current plant policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year recent production experience
