Domestic Materials Coordinator

Summary:
Responsible for planning and coordinating the process of purchasing materials from domestic suppliers for production throughput. Coordinates with Production Planning, plans and forecasts the need of materials to meet customer orders. Aids in the development of policies and procedures in the areas of procurement and inventory control. Expected to play a key role in the management of inventory. Communicates with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and manages the delivery of appropriate quantity levels based on the increase or decrease of customer demand.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
Order inventory through SAP Vendor scheduling
Conduct cycle counts on required materials as scheduled.
Research reasons behind inventory discrepancies and aid in the corrective actions of the root causes.
Arranges the safe transport of materials.
Aids in the development of procedures in the areas of inventory control, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials throughout the plant.
Maintains adequate supply levels throughout the supply chain.
Follows established safe practices for receiving hazardous substances.
Perform other responsibilities as required.
Knowledge and skills requirements:
Experience with SAP vendor scheduling
Experience in manufacturing and or supply planning, logistics or related industry
Experience in Lean transformation preferred
Demonstrated management skills
Excellent communication skills: oral, written, presentation, and electronic
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred. High School Diploma required.
Work
Experience: Manufacturing, supply chain, and/or logistics. SAP experience required.
Additional Comments: Closely integrated with other functions such as Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Sales, Finance, and Purchasing. Strong leadership skills is a plus. Requires involvement in continuous improvement activities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
