Knitting/Cloth Room Tech

Responsible for maintaining and repairing machines in Knitting Department, including Conform Knit and Finish, Backwinder, Tensor Knit and Finish, and assist with Warper. Operate tie machine for warps. Sort and arrange Tensor Bandages as directed.
Perform any or all of the following functions asassigned:
Repair all machines in associated department.
Keep an updated log on all machines.
Fill out flag sheet.
Lease, pull and prepare yarn for tie end.
Operate tie machine.
Disassemble shaft to replace beam of yarn.
Help monitor machines to ensure quality.
Assist Knitters and others in department as needed.
Assist in inventory as directed by supervision.
Use Lockout/Tagout as required.
Safeguard equipment to prevent damage.
Follow all GMP, safety and plant polices.
Inspect work for quality.
Maintain work area and equipment in neat and orderly condition.
Perform quality checks and fill out appropriate paperwork.
Safeguarding of equipment to prevent damage.
Repair large breakouts as needed.
Move product or packaging in bags, tubs, platters, boxes and trucks as necessary.
Maintain miscellaneous supplies as needed.
Maintain daily production records.
Assist in moving pallets using material handling equipment.
Pass Kappa test at STD.
Perform other duties as required or directed with or without accommodation.
Education and/or Experience Preferred: High School Diploma/ GED; or one year related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
