Weaving Technician - Equip Maint Tech III

Responsible for maintaining andrepairing machines in Weaving Department,
Responsible for the overall upkeepof looms and associated equipment.
Operate tie machine for warps.
Diagnose equipment/process issues,determine root cause, and implement solutions.
Perform in depth troubleshootingof equipment repair with a focus on robust corrective action.
Perform scheduled preventivemaintenance as assigned by supervisor in accordance with the preventivemaintenance schedule and identify and implement preventative maintenancesolutions.
Participate in and/or lead failureanalysis and issue resolution activities to ensure preventative action isaccomplished.
Assist in spare part procurementthrough machine shop or outside vendor using existing documents. Collaboratewith production operators to write and maintain production work instructions toensure processes are accurate and are being followed.
Capable of performing equipmentinstallation/qualification or complete equipment installation/qualificationwith assistance.
Work with production operators toensure product quality questions are addressed.
Perform standard maintenancepractices to share improvements across the site.
Work with the manufacturing lineto identify and implement equipment/process improvements.
Ability to interpret technicalwriting and procedures.
Ability to read engineeringdrawings.
Ensure proper set-up of productionmachines and ancillary equipment according to procedures and productspecifications at the completion of assigned tasks.
Adhere to plantpolicies/procedures, department EHS rules, ISO 9001 regulations and GoodHousekeeping procedures.
Shall operate in a manner thatprotects the health and safety of its employees/visitors and operate in amanner that conserves energy, natural resources and protects the environment.
Complete all pertinent paperworkpertaining to the maintenance being performed according to establishedguidelines in manufacturing procedures. Report any unusual or unacceptablecircumstances to supervisor.
Responsible to observedepartment's regulations and to use personal protective equipment as required,must be safety conscious and Lockout/Tagout trained.
Facilitate team's progress towardsuccessful accomplishment of established goals.
Education and/or Experience Preferred: High School Diploma/ GED; or one year related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
