Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Sleep Lab Medical Director, performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests. Responsible for attaching electrodes and monitors to patients who are participating in a sleep study. Monitors the patient
throughout the sleep study and documents observations, collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the physician. Responsible for CPAP titration and oxygen therapy when applicable. Scores reports.

Program of Study
Polysomnographer: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and hold RPSGT credential and exemption from the SC Board of Medical Examiners. OR Hold the CRT/RRT credential from an accredited program and have completed appropriate training
and acceptance to sit for either the Respiratory SDS (sleep disorder speciality) Exam, BRPT Exam for the RPSGT credential, or the American Board of Sleep Medicine Sleep Technologist Registry Examination for the RST credentia.

Required License:
SLEEP-NE - Preferred
If Respiratory Care Practitioner, must be licensed by the SC Board of Medical Examiners and credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory care as a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). 53183723d8444df1ba5ebf529091910c

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
